The first Battle Pass of Season 2025 is almost here, bringing with it the debut of five stunning skins from the Masque of the Black Rose skin line.
With massive updates like Map Changes and the arrival of the fearsome new monster Atakhan, Season 2025 is shaping up to be one of League’s most exciting yet. But today, we’re diving into the revamped Pass system and the exclusive skins tied to it.
Revamped Battle Pass System
Riot Games is completely overhauling the Battle Pass system for the new season, introducing improved rewards and more skins than ever before. Each Pass will now include five skins, with one available for free. Prestige skins will also be exclusive to the Pass and will no longer have a standard variant.
Season 2025’s first Pass aligns with the season’s Noxus theme, featuring skins from the newly unveiled Masque of the Black Rose line.
Battle Pass Tiers and Rewards
The new system introduces three pricing tiers, each offering a different set of rewards:
- 1650 RP: Standard Battle Pass
- 2650 RP: Battle Pass, 10 Pass Levels, Prestige Emote, and the Champion with the Prestige Skin
- 3650 RP: All of the above, plus 25 Mythic Essence and Prestige Chroma
Skins are unlocked by leveling up the Pass, with the Prestige Skin obtainable at level 50.

- Level 10: Masque of the Black Rose Vladimir (Paid)
- Level 20: Masque of the Black Rose Elise (Free)
- Level 30: Masque of the Black Rose Samira (Paid)

- Level 50: Prestige Masque of the Black Rose Katarina (Paid)
Release Date
The Season 2025 Act 1 Battle Pass, along with the skin line, will drop with Patch 25.S1.1, set to launch on January 9, 2025.
