Over the past few years, League of Legends(LOL) has been a familiar name among the top PC games in the world in terms of revenue, number of players, stream viewers, and annual tournament. But in the eyes of the League of Legends gamers community, Riot Games still has a lot of shortcomings that need to be overcome if they don’t want LOL to become a “dead game”, fewer and fewer players.

1/Attracting newbies through elements of the game

In recent times the community thinks that the Eternals feature is a “remains” of LOL , which does not have much effect on the player’s experience. Riot Games should stop investing in unattractive features like this and do something that really appeals to players.
One of the things that players are most interested in is the game mode, special map of LoL. So the community consider that RIOT should open voting or bring back those game modes in rotation. This not only attracts newbies, but also greatly pleases old players. In particular, in these new modes, both old and new players must get used to it and enjoy the joy of playing LOL.
As an “undercover film and music-making company“, releasing an annual short film will not be a big challenge for Riot Games. The community thinks there should be a short video a few minutes before each LOL Worlds, summarizing all the highlights events in the last 1 year or something similar. This can help LOL newbies catch up on the leagues in the fastest and most interesting way.
4/Introducing the rich storyline of League of Legends in more ways
The community thinks that Riot Games is wasting a lot of potential of LoL, including the extremely diverse storyline in the universe that exists hundreds of champions. Riot Games needs to dig deeper into this plot line, such as launching comic books or short films telling the time of practicing a certain move of a certain champion, or also can tell a fiction story like how scary is Jax when he ‘s holding a real weapon …
