The next music production from Riot Games is predicted to be the third album for Pentakill – League of Legends‘s first band to ever debut.
Pentakill was the first group published to the fan community by Riot Games; it may be considered the senior counterpart of subsequent K/DA or True Damage. Pentakill’s rock metal sound and fierce s look make it less popular than its juniors, but it nonetheless has a huge number of devoted followers.
Fans may now expect to meet all former (or potentially new) band members in the near future, thanks to an announcement from Riot Games music on their Twitter earlier this week:
Although the relation to Pentakill was not mentioned, the Roman numeral 3 was instantly thought of by the fan community when Riot Games revealed the third album of this trio (they has 2 albums previously). The “III” hashtag can be considered as the following product after the latest album of the band was named: “II: Grasp of the Undying”.
Grasp of the Undying was published in 2017 and rapidly rose to the top of the metal charts, outperforming major bands such as Metallica.
Furthermore, the Riot Games and Teamfight Tactics official Twitter accounts both replied to the aforementioned status line with the phrase “Sign of the Horns.” According to Emojipedia, this phrase means “Rock on” or “Heavy Metal.” These words are obviously for the Rock music that Riot Games composed for the band.
Each song on Pentakill has its own music video. The video below, which was published in August 2017, depicts the whole band, comprising Karthus, Mordekaiser, Sona, and Olaf, demolishing Bandle City. Kayle is also introduced as a member of the squad, and she debuts her Pentakill skin in the video.
It’s unknown whether Riot Games Music will produce a new skin for a new member or simply a music CD. However, given Kayle was the last champion to acquire the skin over two years ago, it is probable that the Pentakill skin line will be more available to new champions.
