Patch 12.22 brings the second series of the League of Legends Eternal Series
Over the years, Riot Games has added hundreds of new achievements and features to League. It all started with mastery tokens, which players could earn by performing well. That took off as players began to grind for those masteries.
Riot later introduced Eternals to League of Legends. Eternals evolved into an achievement system that replaced the game’s stat tracker. The Eternals, in particular, is a tracking feature that allows you to save, honor, and display the glorious moments you’ve experienced in League.
Eternals are currently available in two series: Starter Series and Series 1. The Starter Series is common for all champions but tracked separately, and it typically includes takedowns for structures and epic monsters. Series 1 is much more focused on champions.
After acquiring a chain, the system will automatically collect your statistics. Having said so, the feature is a fun way to keep track of a champion’s stats. As a result, Riot has decided to expand the system, with Series 2 set to be released in Patch 12.22.
According to Riot Rovient’s tweet, Series 2 will be available in League of Legends Patch 12.22. A rather outdated Reddit post also mentioned more data mined from more Series to come in the future.
This will be an excellent addition to providing players with more achievements for their favorite champions. It will also encourage them to play better in the game.
