Zeri has had a rough time ever since her release, with patch 12.20 giving the champion the lowest win rate in League of Legends.
For as long as most players can remember, League of Legends has had a changing meta. Each patch brings buffs and nerfs that alter the metagame.
This brings us to Zeri, a marksman who took League of Legends by storm when she was first launched. The champion quickly became a part of the meta due to her ability to kite and execute explosive plays, which made her immensely strong. Riot applied many fixes to her kit, reducing her to a minimal level.
Zeri in Patch 12.20
However, it appears Riot went too far, as the one infamous champion in pro play now has the lowest solo queue win rate since Patch 12.20 was released.
According to League statistics OP.GG, Zeri’s win rate currently stands at merely 41.84%. Her win rate has been towards the bottom over the previous 4-5 patches now. In addition, this is her lowest win rate during the same time span.
The last several patches have nerfed her to the point that she has crashed badly.
Zeri was previously completely out of control because to Riot’s “200 years of experience”. Many professional teams, regardless of their opponents, prioritize her for one of their bans. In addition, the champion created an amazing record in League history by setting four Pentakills in barely 24 hours across several professional tournaments.
Riot had no clue how to balance her out at the moment. But now, they have successfully nerfed her to the ground.
That being said, if this continues, Riot will ultimately buff the champion to break Zeri’s win rate slump. However, if Zeri gets even slightly overtuned, League of Legends will be filled with her again.
