Arcane Season 2 is almost here, and the show’s makers are teasing some minor details for fans before the highly anticipated release.
Arcane changed League of Legends entirely. The blockbuster Netflix series based on the famous MOBA received numerous awards for its first season, which was set in Piltover and Zaun.
While the series is still in development ahead of its season 2 release, Arcane co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee provided some fascinating insights on the League of Legends animated series’ second season. To commemorate the series’ first anniversary, Riot Games organized a series of events centered on Arcane, beginning with a Reddit AMA with the two co-creators.
The first season left fans with many unanswered concerns regarding the characters, particularly those who were hit by Jinx’s rocket in the council room. While their status is still unknown, there is a good chance that fans will see Mel Medarda again, according to Yee.
The series’ last episode reached a “point of no return,” both in Jinx’s personal maturation and in the confrontation between the two cities. Thus, Linke and Yee adopted the words “war” and “rubicon” to characterize what Season 2 has in store.
Other minor details will almost certainly come into play as well. Magic is expected — after all, the show’s name is Arcane — but some additional facts regarding Jayce’s history and how he was saved by a mysterious Rune wizard, or Victor’s obsession with magic may be revealed on screen.
Riot has also promised a Silco-Vander-Powder backstory narrative, delving into the trio’s troubled history.
Moreover, it appears like Arcane’s creators will share some love with fans in order to balance out the animated series. The ‘sex’ moment between Jayce and Mel was one of the most surprising scenes in season one. Despite the fact that it has yet to be verified, many are hoping for a sensual encounter between Vi and Caitlyn in season 2.
“Hmm… any characters springing to mind,”
“I don’t know Alex. Haven’t seen anything on social media that makes me believe people even thought about this.”
While the release date for the second season of Arcane remains unknown, it appears like Riot is steadily providing more information about the future of Piltover and Zaun.
