Riot has released all of the changes that will be made to Kayle in patch 13.9
Kayle is a champion who debuted in 2009. She was, however, weaker than the other top laners. So, despite multiple minor and major reworks, Riot ultimately granted her a VGU in early 2019.
The VGU resolved numerous major flaws with Kayle’s pre-rework. Riot, on the other hand, rendered Kayle incredibly vulnerable in the early game because to her late-game flexibility. She strains her team because of her early game flaws.
Kayle was mentioned with a mini-rework earlier this year by Riot August to enhance her kit. And now we have a complete list of all future modifications.
League of Legends Kayle Mini-rework

- Invulnerable duration changed from 2 – 3 seconds to 2.5 flat
- Damage range increased from 500 flat to 675 – 775
- Cast time reduced from 1.5 to .5
However, these modifications are mostly nerfs rather than buffs. Other than her ultimate, no other stats are receiving significant upgrades.
The majority of the changes in this patch affect Kayle’s ultimate. In terms of nerfs, Riot is lowering the base damage, AP, and AD Ratio. However, the invulnerability period has been changed from 2-3 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
It’s a nice change since it makes the end result more consistent. Also, the range from her ultimate has also been increased. Furthermore, the cast duration has been lowered from 1.5 seconds to.5 seconds, allowing her to perform auto attacks while being invulnerable.
We don’t yet know how these modifications will influence the game, but people are already assuming that they are a nerf. For the time, we might have to wait and see.
These Kayle changes are intended to be implemented on live servers with patch 13.9, which is set to be released on May 3, 2023.
