This CD contains multiple “ancient” images of LoL since its debut.
Throughout the very first days of LoL, Riot Games had to try their best to bring their new product to the gaming community. At that time, this company had to produce several CDs in order to skip the downloading time and enter the game as quickly as possible.
At present, CDs are relatively outdated as most games, including LoL, can be downloaded online easily. However, one of the players who first played LoL accidentally found his old CD of the game and tried to install it. His post immediately attracted huge attention from the LoL community, especially the long-time players.
In his post, he shared a lot of images that evoked the old memories of players about the first days of this MOBA game.
Nevertheless, this CD can only install the old version of LoL. It cannot be updated to the new ones because of its ancient client and “dead” links in it.
