Players aren’t happy with the new changes to the chatbox
After receiving negative feedbacks about new changes that have been made to the chat box this patch, Riot Games has decided to make a change.
League gameplay design director Mark “Scruffy” Yetter announced several changes to the chatbox feature in the game today, which includes “some polish” that is set to come along with the next patch.
According to his Tweet, the upcoming changes to the feature are aim to make it wider and has better default in-game positioning.
The latest patch 10.24 introduced a new chatbox with more space to the left field, and more narrow with larger letters. Fans have been unhappy about these changes as there have been countless posts and articles on Reddit and other communities addressed it as “unintuitive” and asking why it was even changed in the first place”.
Tyler1 during his stream yesterday has several funny reactions as he was yelling at the new chat feature “what is this?” and asking Riot to “turn the chat back.”
The improvements won’t be coming any sooner than the next Patch, so for the mean time, fans must be patient with these changes.
