Fans are disappointed with the fact that League of Legends is still full of bugs despite Worlds 2021 is on the horizon.
In a video that was uploaded on Reddit earlier today, a League player discovered a bug that caused Qiyana’s Q – Edge of Ixtal to pass through champions without dealing any damage at all.
In the movie, the player from Qiyana was fighting an enemy Viegos one-on-one, but decided to appeal for help from one of his colleagues. The opponent Viego had already caused a lot of damage to Qiyana when their team-mate, an Evelynn player, rushed out to the rescue. Fortunately, the Qiyana had just six hit points left – just enough to start an escape.
The Qiyana player attempted to lace two Ixtal Edge (Q) casts between each of his movements as they ran away from the game. The player in Viego had a very low HP and if both casts were to handle damages well, the player in Qiyana was likely to turn the battle around. The Viego, which finally hit them and obtained a 1,000 Gold shutdown bonus for their squad, destroyed them emphatically, though.
What causes the bug is unclear or if it has been triggered especially in encounters between Qiyana and Viego. Riot Games did not address or make a bug acknowledgment statement.
In the next release of Patch 11.18, Riot intends to reintroduce Qiyana in the competitive meta with a large number of buffs. Patch 11.19 is planned to be implemented later this year during the League World Championship. If this bug indeed focuses on Qiyana then it would be preferable for the developer to address the problems before the champion has seen its play rate grow as a result of its upcoming buffs.
