Last year, Pentakill played live on the LCS Mid-Season Showdown Grand Finals. There was a real band at the event, but the new virtual experience revolves around the band’s in-game Champions.

In 2011, when five in-play skins were introduced for a number of the game’s champions: Sonia, Kayle, Olaf, Karthus, Mordekaiser, and Yorick, Pentakill first was added to the League of Legends. Since then, the League’s early skins of this band have been not updated, despite two albums released by the band since their skins were initially launched.

However, with the introduction of the Lost Chapter, substantial graphic upgrades will be made available to the Pentakill members in the game. Furthermore, Riot said that, when the skin line update is published later this month, Viego, a new League champion introduced earlier this year, will also join the virtual band.
