All Updated Viktor Skins Following His VGU in League of Legends
As Viktor receives a much-anticipated Visual and Gameplay Update (VGU) in League of Legends, Riot Games has unveiled updated splash arts and models for all his skins.
Viktor in League of Legends
League of Legends has been a staple of the gaming world for over 15 years, setting itself apart with its diverse roster of unique champions. Among them is Viktor, who debuted in 2011 as one of the game’s earliest releases.
What made Viktor stand out was his innovative evolution mechanic. Upon spawning, he would start with the Prototype Hex Core, an item that allowed him to upgrade one of his basic abilities as it was improved. This system remained unchanged until preseason 11 when Riot replaced it with the Hex Fragments system, enabling him to upgrade abilities through stacking Hex Fragments.
Despite never dominating the meta, Viktor consistently remained a solid pick with a loyal fanbase. However, his visuals began to show their age over time, especially when compared to newer champions. Riot seized the perfect opportunity to modernize him following the release of Arcane, where Viktor plays a pivotal role.
The VGU and Skin Updates
Riot recently revealed Viktor’s full VGU, which is now available for testing on the PBE. Alongside his updated base model, all of his skins have received visual enhancements, bringing them in line with modern standards.
The updated splash arts and in-game models breathe new life into Viktor, ensuring he looks as sharp as he plays.
