It’s been one hell of a ride for Arcane in the past year
It has been nearly one year since we got a closer look at Piltover and Zaun, two familiar regions known to League of Legends fans, thanks to the awarded animated Netflix series Arcane—and fans everywhere are set to celebrate its anniversary.
The official Arcane Twitter account announced today that numerous events would happen over the next ten days to commemorate the blockbuster series’ first anniversary.
Some events are being teased under a “redacted” title, implying that more show-related information will be revealed, although the probability of seeing a teaser for season two is quite low.
On November 8, there will be a Reddit AMA with the creators themselves, during which fans can ask questions about the show’s production, as well as the setting and its numerous characters derived from League of Legends.
Also, the creators mentioned about “drop”, something related to Drop Events, similar to their in-game events. It could be merch, or a special edition soundtrack of one of the series’ many classic tracks, but no particular information about the drop is available.
On November 16, a collab with Rocklove Jewelry will also begin, with pieces possibly based on the show’s various characters. The anniversary will conclude the next day with a remix of an unnamed song, which many fans believe is Arcane’s opening theme “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons.
The celebration’s undiscovered components are unlikely to be revealed until the days on which they are released, which is just tomorrow on November 8, so fans should look forward to the surprises that the Arcane team has in store to honor the series.
