Less than two days after the release of LoL patch 13.3, the reworked Aurelion Sol and buffed Annie have been hotfixed nerfed
Aurelion Sol’s rework has been a smash so far, with his play rate being higher than it has been since his initial debut. And, despite having only recently been introduced, he has an incredibly high win rate. However, the only champion with a greater win rate than him is Annie, who has a win rate of over 56% in two separate roles, mid and support. As a result, these champions were quickly hotfixed to assist reduce their powers following their buffs.
Nerfs to Aurelion Sol and Annie in hotfix Patch 13.3
Lead designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison announced a slew of adjustments to the Star Forger in a new hotfix that would reduce his scaling strength and overall usefulness. Annie, on the other side, is having her overall durability nerfed quickly.

Aurelion Sol’s update altered every part of his kit. Players are still discovering what makes him so powerful. Despite the fact that he was released with a few bugs, his play rate is one of the highest in the game, and he’s very strong at all levels.
While both champions have been nerfed, Aurelion Sol’s adjustments have reduced several of his numbers by half. As a consequence, depending on how his win rate adjusts after these nerfs, the champion may get some buffs afterwards.
