After Riot Games released Aurelion Sol’s latest complete gameplay update for League of Legends, Summoner’s Rift is on fire throughout
For many players around the globe, Aurelion Sol, the space dragon of Runeterra, has been the highlight of the month. However, due to a new bug, he is now the annoyance of everyone’s sight only when they are using a particular champion to face against, in which case he can burn players to death.
Aurelion Sol placing his Singularity on the battlefield and then being sent to the Death Realm by Mordekaiser is the only scenario that causes the glitch, which many players have found. Any opposing players who are trapped in the Singularity’s field will 100% die as times fly by slowly.
As can be seen from the clip above from Vandiril, player by player starting to die slowly due to the burn effect from his Singularity.
This is due to the fact that after Aurelion Sol’s E ability has expired, it glitches due to Mordekaiser’s Realm of Death, causing any players struck by the draw to continue taking burn damage from Singularity even if it is not currently active on the battlefield. They’ll steadily burn to death from a ghost ability if the curse doesn’t go away.
This effect cannot be avoided; it only stops when you embrace your destiny and let your champion die. Players should generally avoid playing Mordekaiser against Aurelion Sol, or if they do, refrain from trying to use their ultimate power against him at this time.
The tolerance for error is too wide, and in a tight contest, this bug might mean the difference between winning and losing.
Riot stopped Aurelion Sol last week due to in-game bugs, but it’s obvious that the developers still have a lot of work to do to stop any further issues from occurring. For now, the devs have yet to publish a hotfix to resolve this issue.
