Kai’Sa has a new splash art, Bel’Veth’s skills have been leaked, and now two teasers for the upcoming Void Event have surfaced as well
It appears that everything is arriving at us at once after a drought of fresh information regarding our new Void jungler, Bel’Veth.
Two teaser videos have been released on the League of Legends YouTube channel, each of which purports to hint at the rise of a new champion from the Void. Furthermore, the captions for each clip hint at an approaching date: May 20.
The two clips, entitled “To the Eye of the Void” and “To the Prophet of the Void,” are organized as direct communications from the unknown Void jungler to League champions Vel’Koz and Malzahar. Both clips contain illustrations of ruined Runeterra as well as menacing words from an unknown character, which by now we all know as Bel’Veth.
Vel’Koz clip
“Eye of the Void, your watchers are incapable of understanding. I am the Void, and I will remake all of Runeterra.”
Throughout the video, we can see several Void species as well as a massive swarm of Void-like fish swimming everywhere. Vel’Koz seemed to be terrified as well.
Malzahar clip
“My prophet, your empress has arrived. Witness your reward, the end of everything.”
Several images in this clip show corrupted Runeterra crumbling from Malzahar’s vision.
One of the most intriguing shots is of a small girl in Shurima with a butterfly by her side. This could possibly hint at Kai’Sa before she was taken to the Void. Interestingly enough, a similar butterfly can be seen in the new Corrupted Kai’Sa splash art updated on the League of Legends universe website.
These two videos are presently unavailable on the League of Legends YouTube channel. The date May 20, 2022 is written under them, which might suggest that on May 20, we’ll finally know more information on Bel’Veth as well as the upcoming Void Event.
