Broken Covenant Showcase got backlashed by Community, Riot voiced out their response

No missions were available for the Broken Covenant Showcase Event, which Riot responded to

Every time a League of Legends Showcase Event has begun, there are typically free missions that offer rewards to all players, and the event will also include a Battle Pass, Event Shop, and other features.

Players anticipated missions with free rewards when a new Showcase Event appeared for the release of Broken Covenant skin line. None did, though, which sparked a reaction that forced Riot to respond. As anticipated, Riot reacted to the situation.

Broken Covenant Skin Showcase

The skin showcase event has no mission, as was already stated. This was discovered by several players, which led to a significant Reddit thread where people began complaining about the problem. Players’ dissatisfaction is evident, and the situation worsened as a result of a covert modification made to the Riot FAQ for events.

Riot failed to inform the players beforehand, which increased their irritation and outrage. Thus, the scenario was a little confusing. Riot Rovient then responded regarding the problem. Riot Rovient made a comment on the same Reddit thread to discuss the issue.

“Apologies, players. This one is on me! I was unaware that we had a commitment to Showcase missions. We’ll make sure we get these free rewards into an upcoming Event in addition to existing content. Missions will also return in future Showcases.”

Riot Rovient stated that he was not aware of our dedication to Showcase Missions. He did guarantee that the rewards for this showcase event would be included in the subsequent event, though. Missions will also be available in future showcases as Riot Rovient promised players.

Although accepting responsibility and promising rewards and missions for upcoming events are acceptable, using that language is unprofessional, particularly in light of the FAQ’s recent abrupt change.

Nonetheless, with future skin showcase event, players should expect the missions to go back to normal, along with additional rewards for the upcoming existing content.
