New Bug allows Rammus to go from top to bot in 6 seconds

Rammus can now “fly” through Summoner’s Rift in less than 6 seconds thanks to a recent League of Legends bug.

In Patch 11.8, Rammus’ abilities Powerball (Q) and Soaring Slam (R), which was previously known as Tremors before having an improved impact, were reworked. Powerball, the first of those major factions, is creating a serious bug for Rammus, and he can use it to move extremely long distances by combining it with a few other abilities and items.

Rammus can achieve anywhere between 2,400 and 3,500 movement speed (depending on the player’s build path) by activating Predator and Ghost before using Powerball (Q), allowing him to sprint entirely across Summoner’s Rift for the duration of his Q.

In addition, players can abuse this “bug” to make the most of this combination during the early stages of a game since Ghost can already be your Summoner’s Spell and Predator can be used through Runes.

To reproduce the bug, simply trigger Predator, then Ghost, and finally Powerball. Predator must be enabled first, as it will disable Rammus’ Powerball channel and prevent him from rolling if activated before.

Since Powerball scales with Rammus’ current movement pace, the Predator and Ghost bonuses will make his Q much more powerful. And because Ghost and Predator combination necessitates a high level of commitment to movement speed, the ability to fly across the map in less than six seconds is most likely an error, or a bug. A multiplication error somewhere in the process of stringing the abilities together is most likely to blame for this issue. Riot Games has yet to issue an official statement on the bug’s status and Rammus has yet to be disabled on the live servers.
