Riot has uploaded the latest episode of their champion spotlights.
This time we get to dive into Nilah’s gameplay, the latest champion to arrive with Patch 12.13.

Initial reception of Nilah has not been warm
As Patch 12.13 rolls, LoL players have had first contact with the brand new champion, and apparently many are not having as much fun as Nilah is.
Criticisms focus on the champion’s overly complicated kit, her overpowered xp and healing/shielding sharing and of course, too much dashing!
Numbers are not in yet on stats collector like op.gg, but the champion seems to err on the broken side.
To be fair to Riot, the first iteration of a champion will always be unbalanced and one may even argue that in order to compete with ranged ADC, a melee champion has to be a bit overtuned.
It’s certain that hotfixes will be coming in as Riot gets more concrete data from a bigger sample size.
