Crime City Nightmare and Debonair 2.0 skin lines are confirmed to be released later this year

The two skin lines Crime City Nightmare and Debonair 2.0 is set to be introduced to League in no matter of time this year.

On July 2nd, Riot released a video discussing their upcoming plan for this year about Summer Event, Game Mode and Thematic Skins.

The 2 skin lines were originally chosen from the fan vote that happened earlier this year, in which League players were allowed to choose which skin line would be added to the game. Crime City Nightmare, Monster Hunters, and Debonair 2.0 were the three prospective skin lines that were chosen in the initial voting. Crime City Nightmare was the overwhelming favorite in every area except China, with a global vote of 49.6%.

But even that’s the case, Ambrielle Army, product lead for the League skins team at Riot said: “Debonair 2.0 came in at a close second, so we decided to make them both.”

So this year fans will enjoy 2 new skin lines joining the game, bringing brand-new gameplay and VFX of these skins.

Crime City Nightmare is a skin line with thematic themes based on a mix of high society and Cthulhu-inspired Eldritch magic. The skin line had been confirmed by Riot that it will be available for Twisted Fate and Akali.

Debonair 2.0, according to Ambrielle Army, will tell the story of champions vying for powerful elixirs in a modern noir world. The Debonair 2.0 skin collection provides sleek and crisp formal appearances with coloring of green and white all throughout. Riot had also said that Debonair 2.0 will be included by Leona and Malzahar.

It’s not clear that whether or not other champions will join together with the 4 mentioned champions above. But until then, fans will be waiting within few more months to notice these 2 skin lines approaching League.
