These new skins are set to hit Summoner’s Rift soon.
League of Legends fans voted on Crime City Nightmare as a forthcoming skin theme earlier this year, and now we have a first look at some splash arts.
Surrender at mod 20 Today, moobeat discovered numerous splash artworks on League Weibo, releasing pictures for nine new skins. While the Crime City Nightmare theme was already confirmed, a new “Phoenix” skin line for what seems to be Seraphine, Xayah, and Anivia was also announced. Fans of Crime City Nightmare may look forward to cosmetics for Akali, Twisted Fate, Shaco, Darius, Graves, and what appears to be Zyra.
The Crime City Nightmares are ominous, with white, black, and brilliant purple colors that symbolize evil magic. In addition, the skins appear to feature glowing eyeballs that are decorated in each champion’s armor. These champions are definitely adding flair to the criminal life by mixing such themes with clean masks and elegant outfits.
The Phoenix cosmetics are bright oranges, greens, and yellows, and they appear to play on the bird concept by including plenty of feathers. And the magnificent Anivia wears a huge jewel on her head as well as rainbow wings, lending the Cryophoenix a god-like aura.
Despite the fact that Crime City Nightmare won the fan vote, product head Ambrielle Army stated that “Debonair 2.0 came in a close second, so we decided to make them both.” It’s unknown when any of the three skin lines will launch in the League. However, with the creation of splash artworks, they are most likely not far off.
Moreover, an earlier version of this page said that one of the Crime City skins was for Evelynn, however, it appears that it is actually for Zyra. Apart from Akali and Twisted Fate, Riot has yet to disclose which champions will receive these skins.
