New icons are coming for every LoL champion in Patch 13.17, according to new datamine leaks verified today, and fans have speculated that it may herald the return of the Essence Emporium.
Players have been wondering when the Essence Emporium would return to League since it was removed in 2022 owing to technical concerns and Riot’s intention to find a more scalable way for the feature. Many had given up hope because it had been a year since it was last spotted on the Riot client—until today.
Every LoL champion is receiving a new icon
The one and only SkinSpotlights has datamined every single League of Legends champion’s new icon for the upcoming patch.
Following the Reddit post, League players are so thrilled about the Essence Emporium and the beauty of these icons that they are prepared to spend a big quantity of blue essence merely to get each new icon of every champions.
While it doesn’t appear that bad when the icons are put to a profile, the region’s icon on the top left corner will take up the most of the area.
Despite a few flaws with the icons, most players are thrilled that the Blue Essence Emporium may return in Patch 13.17, and many more are anxious to get their hands on these new LoL icons.
Some players believe that this feature detracts from the overall appearance of the LoL champion icon and that it should be removed in a future release. Riot has not said whether or not the cosmetics would be changed during PBE testing.
