Dopa Announces That This Season Will Be His Last due to the Military Service

Not so good news for Dopa fans.

Military service is one of the compulsory requirements for every Korean male, and of course, the League superstars and popular streamers are no exception. Dopa, one of the Korean League of Legends’ most famous names, recently officially announced his enlistment plan on his current stream, also mentioning that Season 10 is likely to be the last season he’s spent with League of Legends.

“I’m going to have military service, soon.
We don’t have much time together, and for me, this is probably the last season I spend with League of Legends.
There are only two and a half months left, and now I am wondering whether I am going to work hard on the stream or try hard to top 1 Challenger.”

In Korea, it normally takes 18 months for compulsory military service. This means viewers are no longer witnessing the Dopa stream and his performances at Chinese and Korean servers over the following year and a half.

Even though Dopa has never been professional, he remains one of the most influential names in League of Legends history. Without exaggeration, this highly talented streamer but shortcomings is considered a standard of a perfect League player.

Excellent personal skills, a range of knowledge and game awareness such as encyclopedia, Dopa can be said to have never been inferior to any skilled professional players during direct match confrontations.

However, perhaps fans should take advantage of his almost last streams before their idols temporarily “retire” for a long period of time.
