Retired NA legend Doublelift was reported to be talking to several NA LCS teams though nothing has been settled according to LEC_Wooloo

Doublelift retired in November 2020 after a decorated ADC career, widely considered to be top 2 greatest players in LCS history

Yiliang ‘Peter’ Peng last competed for TSM, and most notably for Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming where he won a record 8 LCS championships, making him the most decorated North American League player ever.

Along with Bjergsen, Yiliang is often regarded as top 2 best NA players of all time. Now 29 years old, Doublelift is enjoying a successful streaming career on Twitch, playing League of Legends, commentating pro LoL championships and hosts his own podcast Trash Talk, all available on his Youtube channel

After 3 years away from the pro scene, sources are speculating a possible return of the best ADC in NA history. Doublelift himself had jokingly responded to Wooloo’s tweet, neither confirming nor denying the rumors.

NA has not had a phenomenal season, with renowned brands such as Team Liquid or TSM not even making to Worlds, and other NA representatives not getting past the groups at Worlds 2022. With the exception of Berserker, C9’s ADC, the other botlaners in LCS this season have been super underwhelming.

Perhaps this prompted teams to start contacting the old legend, or perhaps Doublelift saw how bad other ADCs were and felt he’s gotta do it himself 😛

Maybe he wants to be that first ADC over 21 to win Worlds!
