According to the creator of Senna, Draktharr Duskblade, Divine Sunderer, or Galeforce are far better for her than Eclipse!!!
In our 11th season, Senna seems to be a pretty nice option for both ADC and Support. Even, according to u.gg, her win rate as an ADC is 51.77%, which is not a small number. The reason for that is completely obvious: Senna is one of the champions that benefit a lot from The Collector – the strongest item in LoL at present.
However, Riot August – the creator of The Redeemer, is not too satisfied with the most popular build for this champion! According to Riot August, Eclipse was the worst Mythic item. He even suggested that Moonstone Renewer also would be a nice option if she was used as a Support.
Basically, Senna’s AS is extremely low and her auto-attack animation is pretty “frustrating”, so she has to waste a lot of time to activate the effect of Eclipse. Moreover, she needs a moderately long period of time to collect Absolution stacks and strengthen her power, this makes her unable to optimize Omnivamp from Eclipse at early and mid-game when she does not have enough Absolution stacks.
Meanwhile, items mentioned by Riot August seem to be much suitable for Senna. Draktharr Duskblade provides her with a large amount of AD and 20 AH, one of the most important stats with her. With Divine Sunderer, damage from Spellblade passive will help her to deal with brawlers more easily, so she can ensure her damage for early fights. Galeforce is now too OP due to its mobility and considerable amount of damage.
Maybe it’s time for players to change their minds about Senna’s Mythic item. There is no doubt that Eclipse used to be incredibly OP, but it has received numbers of nerfs, while items like Draktharr Duskblade, Divine Sunderer or Galeforce appear to be more suitable for her.
