Faker broke Uzi’s record at Worlds 2022

The greatest League of Legends player – Faker ever broke another record lately.

The legendary mid-laner Faker has surpassed former star AD carry Uzi, who had more than 350 kills during his time at the competition, to secure the most kills overall in World Championship history. In the team’s most recent group-stage encounter against Fnatic, the T1 superstar stole the marksman’s record by tallying six kills and an assist in addition to only three deaths.

Since 2013, Faker has participated in practically every World Championship, missing just the competition in 2014 and 2018.

One of the most reliable players in the world, he consistently displayed elite form alongside his teammates on T1. No matter which players are surrounding him, he serves as the team’s unwavering leader, and this year, he had to lead his young countrymen into one of the most important competitions of their young lives.

Faker has had to modify his playstyle over the course of his career in order to support the success of his squad. As the major focus of his squad, in the beginning, he frequently used carry champions, but with time, he began to favor supportive champions like Lissandra, Twisted Fate, and Galio.

But don’t undervalue the GOAT. When his team needs them, he has little trouble pulling out flashy, playmaking champions like Ahri, Akali, and LeBlanc from his repertoire. His mechanical skill hasn’t deteriorated, and his and his team’s Worlds 2022 performance thus far is proof of that.

Uzi’s record was also noteworthy because it had been four years since he had participated in the competition, but his 350 kills had stood for such a long time.

Even though he hasn’t won a Worlds title yet, the explosive marksman is renowned for his spectacular carry performances and is still regarded as the best ADC of all time.
