Faker has yet to win a game with his once-favorite champion, Ryze, in this year 2022 LCK Spring Split
T1 had won a tough victory over Hanwha Life Esports after the Lunar New Year holiday. Faker and his teammates were ahead in this match-up, but they also struggled in the first and last game. Faker chose Ryze again in T1’s loss to HLE, and the “Demon King” has yet to win a game with this champion in LCK. T1 was defeated all three times Faker picked Ryze in the LCK Spring 2022.
In fact, Ryze’s LCK win rate so far this year is likewise exceedingly low, at only 15.4% win rate (2 wins, 11 losses). As a result, the media exploited Faker’s post-match conference with this champion, and according to T1’s mid laner, Ryze’s low win rate issue is with the player rather than the champion.
“Ryze has a poor win rate, but we must evaluate it carefully to see what caused the champion to fail. As in today’s game, the fact that we lost in the early phases, typically the dive in the top lane, caused the game to go out of control. The biggest issue for this champion, in my opinion, is the player’s decision to pick Ryze.” Fake disclosed.
Furthermore, T1’s captain stated that today’s mid lane encounter between T1 and HLE has little impact on the game. As a result, Faker intends to have more appealing matchups in the upcoming games.
T1 has won the LCK spring 2022 for the seventh time in a row and continues to dominate the group. However, the Demon King and his teammates will have a very difficult battle against Gen.G Esports. The match between T1 and Gen. G will take place on February 12.
