Not only being one of the top League players in the world, but Faker also showed fans how talented he is when performing the opening piano of the T1 Con 2022 event.
The last day of 2022 has officially passed, the New Year 2023 has come to bring a new breeze, a new beginning for all of us. Ending a successful 2022 for League of Legends in particular and Esports in general, T1 has just completed the T1 Con 2022 event for fans on December 31.
Faker played “River Flows In You” at T1 Con 2022
T1 Con 2022 is an event organized by T1 like a concert – a concert for T1 fans in Korea to have the opportunity to meet and see their favorite players in a different aspect, more dashing and also dress more politely. The event was held at Sejong University Gwanggaeto Hall, 209 Neungdong-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Opening the ceremony with Raiden’s Runner MV previously released by T1, Faker gave fans an overwhelming look when they took the stage with the piano. The Demon King set the T1 Con 2022 with a legendary piece of music by any piano player, River Flows in You. Although not able to perform like professional players, the tempo is not harmonious, but Faker himself gave “T1 Con” a chilling moment when the first notes were played.
“Recently, I am practicing playing the piano,” Faker explained after the performance, “but people begged me to play the opening song, so I played it.”
Fans are amazed and impressed that Faker is still playing professionally and spends a significant amount of time studying League of Legends while also being able to play the piano like a true musician.
Following that, numerous players, including Faker, sang, performed various songs, and interacted with fans on a year-end day. This is also the action that has marked T1’s comeback to the LCK and international events in the last year following a period of team reorganization.
