Riot has officially teased the forthcoming League of Legends champion, Milio, on the most recent PBE
Riot Games posted a roadmap video for preseason 2023 in the middle of season 12. Many potential champions under development were previewed in the video. One of them was an Ixtal male enchanter, Milio.
Milio is an Ixtal male enchanter support who is projected to be the League’s first new champion this year. Following the release of Patch 13.3 to live servers today, PBE servers were also patched, and a teaser was added to the bottom lane niche.
New Champion teaser Milio
According to the teaser posted by SkinSpotlights, going to the bot lane of the Summoner’s Rift on the PBE servers will now display Milio’s “Firebuddy.” This creature is sitting and relaxing. We may anticipate him controlling this Firebuddy and healing nearby teammates while possibly buffing them.
The small orange blob, does nothing but sit in an alley. Given that he’s a support champion, it’s no surprise that if he’s teased anywhere on the Summoner’s Rift, it’ll be in the bot lane.
Even though this is a teaser, it doesn’t tell much about Milio. Furthermore, we have no idea what he looks like besides some potential leaks. Also, while Riot did not go into detail about his gameplay, they did say that his elemental magic is fire. Furthermore, they stated that he employs fire magic to heal and empower his teammates.
The champion was in early development at the time, and it was stated that he would depict a different aspect of Ixtal than we know through Qiyana’s mythology.
Milio is slated to be the League’s first new champion in 2023, while his specific release date is uncertain. Once he joins the roster, the devs will concentrate on releasing another teased champion, the Darkin assassin.
