Aside from the strange ADC Support meta, Riot is not done with the role yet, as Support items are undergoing significant adjustments in order to flip the meta around
Riot has prioritized the jungle and bot lane in League of Legends recently. Many earlier improvements and preseason adjustments in the bot lane made ADC so powerful in the Support Role. So, in order to deal with the strange meta, Riot added several buffs to the Tank Support champion in Patch 13.3.
However, due to several concerns at Riot, they had to be cautious with updates in order to avoid making unjustified modifications. So, Patch 13.4 will see some significant item adjustments in order to bring the Support meta back on track.

For a long time, Relic Shield has been a flex Support item. This item has been utilized on Tank and Enchanter Supports equally over the years. Giving it greater Health Regen would help champions like Leona and Alistar have better tankiness and sustain in the lane. Steel Shoulderguard, like Relic Shield, is receiving Health Regeneration. Let’s hope this helps the tank meta.
The Spectral Sickle is most likely the most important item for ADC Supports. The item generates a lot of gold, helping ADC to prosper in the role. They are now reducing the charging timer so that they do not receive the advantage as frequently.
And, as part of the ongoing enchanter meta, Spellthief’s Edge is getting some mana regeneration nerfs. With the nerf of that and gold income, it will take a long time for enchanters to rise back up the meta.
According to League’s patch schedule, patch 13.4 is set to arrive on the live servers in 23rd February.
