Is LoL Amazon Prime Gaming ending in season 2023?

Amazon Prime Gaming for League of Legends has been fantastic for LoL players who can earn free prizes with their subscription, but will they be terminated in 2023?

Amazon Gaming rewards gamers of a range of games who have linked their accounts to their Amazon Prime subscription with monthly prizes. This campaign included the company’s monthly League of Legends rewards, which gave players free boost of RP, skins, shards, and Mythic Essence every month.

However, the current Prime Gaming capsule calendar concludes in January; will they be removed in 2023?

Are Amazon Prime Gaming rewards for League of Legends coming to an end?

Throughout the previous year, Prime Gaming capsules for League of Legends players have been available to claim on the website by linking your Riot Games account to your Prime Gaming account. Eternals, Skin Permanents, Champion Shards, and Mythic Essence have all been included in these capsules.

The last of these monthly capsules, however, expires on January 27, with no additional capsules appearing on their schedule.

Fans have spotted this and have gone to social media channels such as Reddit to voice their dissatisfaction that the program’s continuance has yet to be declared. It is doubtful that Amazon will discontinue its rewards program for the world’s largest video game, but the success of that plan to Prime Gaming will decide whether or not it continues.

While it is improbable, with no formal continuance declared, invested fans should limit their expectations and prepare as if it would be canceled completely.

It’s also feasible that Prime Gaming may keep the reward system but discontinue the capsule program. The rewards were formerly individual skins rather than a capsule containing many goodies. While the capsule rewards may be phased down, prizes may still be available in some form.
