With the announcement of the new MSI skin line, Inkshadow, many wonder if the next champion will be unveiled soon.
Riot released the League of Legends preseason 2023 roadmap earlier this year. They presented four upcoming champions in terms of champions. Milio, Naafiri, an anonymous “hangry” champion, and an unnamed calligrapher champion are among them.
Riot stated in their preseason 2023 roadmap last year that they planned to release Naafiri before Milio, however, the release date was pushed back owing to technical concerns.
Following the release of Milio, the next champion on the list is Naafiri. The upcoming champion is going to be a Darkin assassin. Furthermore, according to earlier hints, she will be built around the mid-lane. In terms of looks, she will resemble a canine. Riot has also hinted that she may have several bodies that players may manipulate. The only gameplay aspect they have stated is that she will be a simple champion to learn and master.
And now, Riot has unveiled the newest skin line due for MSI 2023, Inkshadow, and fans are wondering if the Darkin assassin will be released with an Inkshadow skin for her.
Theories of Naafiri released date alongside MSI
This theory was proposed by a Reddit user. Riot may release Naafiri at MSI 2023, according to them. The major reason is that the graphic design of the upcoming MSI 2023 unique skin line is comparable to a vintage game kami.
kami is a Capcom-published action-adventure game created by Clover Studios. In this game, you take on the role of Amaterasu, a Celestial Brush God. However, she has the look of a dog, similar to Naafiri. Furthermore, the Darkin champion and Amaterasu are both female.
Riot frequently creates skins based on popular culture. Riot is unlikely to release her anytime soon, considering it has just been a month since Milio was introduced on live servers.
The Inkshadow skins will be released in patches 13.9 and 13.10 on May 4, 2023 and May 18, 2023, respectively. If Riot does announce Naafiri at MSI 2023, it may be on one of those dates.
