Riot is shifting Fimbulwinter from Wild Rift to League?

“A new Legendary tank item that gives users a large chunk of mana and a new effect that allows them to dip into that mana for additional shields every time they immobilize or slow enemies,”

Which in this case, the description is similar to Fimbulwinter. In Wild Rift, Fimbulwinter is the tank’s option for an item that builds out of Tear of the Goddess. This differs from League of Legends, where Tear’s build choices are limited to only mages and AD champions. Winter’s Approach is the item’s name until it has accumulated enough mana charges to change to Fimbulwinter.

Fimbulwinter’s unique speciality is something League of Legends has been searching for a long time, and fans are insisting to be revealed in League. Mana is a tough stat for tanks to come by, with Frozen Heart being the only item. Due to their generally high mana costs, tanks may need to be extra cautious with their effective peeling abilities.

Could Fimbulwinter be coming to League of Legends soon? With the appearance of this item in Preseason 2022, the tank meta might arouse again in the top lane and all around League of Legends.
