Nearly a year ago, the Foreseen Yasuo skin debuted alongside the Still Here cinematic for the new season. It became a hot topic in the League of Legends community due to how incredibly “cool” it was.
In the cinematic, Yasuo—portrayed as an older version of himself—vowed to protect a village under siege. Setting aside his wooden cane and gripping his sword once more, Yasuo unleashed his iconic wind techniques in a valiant stand before ultimately succumbing to a hail of arrows and bullets.
When the skin was released, fans were thrilled to see one of the most beloved champions in the world portrayed as a “veteran.” To top it off, the skin was relatively affordable, making it accessible for most players to add to their collection.
Calls for a Foreseen Skin for Yone
Now, even though the Foreseen Yasuo skin has been around for some time, discussions about it haven’t died down. Recently, players began suggesting that the Foreseen skin line should expand to include other champions—specifically Yasuo’s brother, Yone.
Yone already has a version of his pre-death appearance in Legends of Runeterra, but the current version of him in League is his reincarnated form, which looks noticeably younger than Yasuo.
Riot Games has proven they’re open to depicting older versions of champions, creating compelling skins for the original League universe, even if the in-game timeline hasn’t reached that point in a champion’s story.
However, with Yone, it might be a bit trickier. Since he’s already a “reincarnated soul,” creating a Foreseen skin for him would require Riot to tweak his lore and visuals.
For instance, they could make some ghostly effects to align with Yone’s spectral abilities. Alternatively, Riot could explore the idea of this skin representing a haunting image of Yone’s past, incorporating his demonic mask into the design—similar to the cinematic referenced above. In summary, a Foreseen Yone skin, featuring a more “mature” look, is entirely possible—so long as Riot Games decides to go for it.
