The Preseason 2023 releases tons of changes to the Jungle, as the result, the Green Father – Ivern became the Bug Father!
Contents
Ivern & Daisy’s bugs:
Passive (Friend of the forest):
Q + Mark:
When you Q (dash) and instantly mark a camp, the channel animation will go off BUT the camp will not be marked and Ivern does not lose any mana or health. The bug is rare-ish but happens from time to time.
Unable to mark a camp without a big monster:
If an enemy invades and slays the big monster while leaving the small monster, Ivern will be unable to mark the camp by clicking on the small monster, unless he is standing right next to it.
Q (Rootcaller):
Q to Auto-Attack range and not melee:
Sometimes when Ivern tries to Q (dash) to a jungle camp, over a wall, the dash will go to his old AA range and not dash him over walls.
W (Brushmaker):
Invisible brush = Camouflage for Ivern:
This bug was fixed months, if not a year ago but it is still super easy to do. Ivern can raise brushes inside certain walls to create a small camouflage zone (a bit similar to invisibility) as long as the enemy does not have a vision of the biggest patch of the brush.
- A brush raised by Brushmaker is invisible in the fog of war until an enemy spots it, by champion vision or ward, which is why the bug works. I just want to highlight that making his brushes “viewable” through the fog of war should fix it, but would be a huge nerf to him.
E (Triggerseed)
Deals no damage when the target times out/dies.
Triggerseed deals no damage/slows enemies in the explosion radius of the animation when the target with the shield dies or times out. Should it function similar to a Zilean Q, based on the animation going off?
(Display bug) Incorrect magic pen calculation:
The damage displayed when an ally causes damage with Ivern’s E is calculated with Ivern’s magic pen even though the actual damage calculation uses the ally’s magic pen (correctly).
R (Daisy!)
CC = Unresponsive:
When Daisy is hit by CC effects she becomes unresponsive/sluggish, which can often cause her to bug out/stutter while walking. Whenever she starts to stutter she will move a short distance and then stop, you need to input another movement command to get her to move again.
The bug has a workaround, if you target Ivern with Daisy (R or CTRL + Right Click, follow mode), the bug will no longer affect Daisy.
This bug is especially prevalent Vs knock-ups/backs (Graves and RekSai) and longer duration CC effects (Shaco Box/Veigar cage)
Some bugs seem to exist since the release of Ivern, and players are demanding Riot to pay attention to the Green Father
