Jankos rejected retiring after leaving G2 Esport

Jankos, a League of Legends star, has now clarified via a YouTube Q&A that he would not be retiring from the esports industry anytime soon, even if he does leave G2 Esports.

On October 20, 2022, a report about the great jungler appeared, causing the entire League of Legends community to shake. In a nutshell, prominent writer LEC Wooloo predicted that the player would leave G2 after the 2023 season.

This sparked discussion about whether he has decided to retire or continue playing. Even though it is unknown which team Jankos will join, he has stated that he would not retire. Fans can watch the video below to hear Jankos’ thoughts on his future.

Jankos is widely considered to be the greatest western jungler of all time. He may have slipped a little, but he is still capable of competing in any elite squad trying to win trophies.

Jankos, as previously stated, has no plans to retire anytime soon, even if he is booted from G2 Esports’ League of Legends team. Jankos said the following in his YouTube Q&A video at 19:42 minutes:

If G2 were to change the jungler, I would still like to pro-play for another year or 2, maybe 3 because I really enjoy it.

Aside from that, in response to a question on where he sees himself in a few years, he stated:

Like I just mentioned, between 2 or 3 years maximum and then I will just transition to a streamer, maybe honestly 1 or 2 years, I’m not sure.

As a result, it appears that Jankos will continue to appear in the professional European League of Legends scene for the foreseeable being. Obviously, he has no motive to quit either.

It appears that for the time being, fans will continue to see more of Jankos in the professional European League of Legends scene. There is obviously no reason for him to depart either.
