Jankos also has 1/10 the total amount of death of the entire Invictus Gaming team.
The LEC Spring Group Stage has reached an end after 8 weeks of competition, with G2 Esports earn their first place in the leaderboard after they defeated SK Gaming. The second place belongs to RGE, while Hans Sama and his teammates have the same score as G2 Esports (14-4), however, they have worse face-up stats compared to G2.
On the last match against SK, Jankos has set a whole new achievement that most of the players won’t want to have in their career: Having his 1000th death. After 12 minutes into the game, Lilia has earned 6 kills thanks to his effective ganks. RGE was then, forced to move and try to catch him, Leblanc and Leona successfully caught him off-guard at the river, which then led to a shutdown that was also his 1000th death in his career.
With his 1000th death record, Jankos is now having 1/10 the total amount of death the entire team of Invictus Gaming has since their first match in 2011.
While this is such a “sad” record for him, it can’t be denied that Jankos has brought more than enough in order to contribute to LEC’s League of Legends. Started his career in 2013, Jankos has been playing for H2K and later, G2 all over the world as one of the best Jungler of the entire game.
As G2 is now such a dominant team in LEC, like what T1 used to do several seasons ago, their objective this year would still be securing their Championship in their region and head to World Championship in order to achieve the highest title for a professional team of the game.
