Infernal – The “super hot” skin in both literal and figurative sense of League of Legends may welcome 3 new members in the upcoming patches.
Recently, the League of Legends community on the PBE server continued to receive information about new skins from Riot Games. Specifically, on the store interface at the test server, players have discovered the appearance of 3 “items” named Infernal Karthus, Infernal Kennen and Infernal Vel’Koz.
This probably means that the new Infernal trio has been recognized, and they will be: Karthus, Kennen and Vel’Koz.
The Infernal skin series is one of the oldest skin universes
Karthus is probably a name that deserves to be “rewarded” by Riot. This “creepy” guy from a mage who is considered obsolete in terms of his playstyle, has found a new role in the Jungle, and has become an extremely tactical pick for many professional teams.
Meanwhile, Vel’Koz – A champion that is not too prominent, but has never been disgraced, when he can handle both Mid and Support position and possess a skill set that requires high player skill. This Void “octopus” is also one of the champions that has the least skins (except the newly released champions). Having his new skin is definitely a very welcome thing.
As for Kennen, this is also the only champion in the Kinkou Order including Akali and Shen, not yet possessing Infernal skin. Perhaps, bringing Kennen’s new outfit is also a move by Riot to help the fans of this guy feel less “self-pity”. Moreover, it’s been more than 3 years since April Fool’s Day 2017, Kennen hasn’t got any new skins yet.
One thing that makes the community curious about the information of the new champion that Riot has announced so far. The new champion should have been released in the near future, so the data about the outfit of this “dreaming Jungler” must also appear on the PBE. The most likely explanation for this is that the new champion will not be able to debut soon, at least in the next two versions. Or if you think about it in a more positive way, maybe Riot wants to hide every related information about this champion.
