K’Sante’s have the ability to transform and dash while being a tank?
Riot Games has revealed the powers of K’Sante, League of Legends’ upcoming top laner.
Riot Games previously provided a pre-season preview with hints of K’Sante’s official League of Legends lore. The champion was also said to have fought a massive monster and changed its hide into “Ntofos,” which are “huge, blunt weapons” that he could also transform into swords. Fans, however, know little about his skills and ability kit until the devs released a peek at his gameplay.
League of Legends new champion K’Sante abilities
Although the gameplay clip did not reveal K’Sante’s detailed skills, it did give fans a sense of his actions and features that will be displayed during in-game.
P – Dauntless Instinct
- His damaging abilities mark enemies for a short duration. Attacking a marked enemy consumes the mark to deal damage plus max health physical damage
- All Out: Attacking a marked enemy instead deals physical damage and additional max health true damage
Q – Ntofo Strikes
- He slams his weapon, dealing physical damage and briefly slowing targets hit. If an enemy is hit, he gains a stack for a short duration. At two stacks, he instead fires a shockwave that pulls enemies.
- All Out: This ability’s cooldown is reduced and no longer slows.
W – Path Maker
- Begin Charging: The champion raises his weapons defensively for a short duration, becoming Unstoppable, and reduces incoming damage.
- Release: The champion rams forward, dealing a percentage of max health physical damage, knocking back and stunning enemies he passes through for a short duration based on the charge time.
- All Out: This ability’s cooldown is refreshed, damage taken reduction is increased, deals additional physical damage based on charge time, and charge and dash speeds are doubled.
E – Footwork
- K’sante dashes, gaining a shield for a short duration. If dashing to an ally, the distance is significantly increased, and they are also shielded. Other abilities can be cast during Footwork.
R – All Out
- K’Sante shatters his tonfas, dealing physical damage and knocking back an enemy champion. Enemy champions that hit a wall will instead take greater damage, are knocked over the wall and are briefly stunned. K’Sante then dashes after the enemy and goes All Out for an extended duration
- All Out: K’Sante loses a percentage of max health, bonus armor, and bonus Magic Resistance. K’Sante gains attack damage, omnivamp, and transforms his abilities.
The Pride of Nazumah will most likely make his live-server debut in Patch 12.21, or at the start of the next preseason. He and his first skin, as well as other information on his skills, will most likely be accessible for testing on the PBE in the following days.
While the exact date of his League of Legends debut is uncertain, it is expected that further information will be revealed during the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, which will conclude on November 5.
