Riot Games is still tinkering with K’Sante’s power requirements less than a week before his big League of Legends launch, putting just a bit extra kick into the heavy skills.
Patch 12.21 of League of Legends is set to release next week, with a number of suggested changes currently on the PBE cycle. K’Sante, the forthcoming League of Legends champion, will also be tweaked before going live.
K’Sante substantial buffs in Patch 12.21
- All Out conversion Armor/Mr to AD 22.5% -> 32.5%
- P health damage increased from 1% – 1.5% (lvl 1 – 11) to 1% – 2% (lvl 1 – 16)
- Q damage changed from 45 – 145 + 50% AD to 50 – 150 + 40% AD + 30% bonus armor and MR
- R first hit base damage increased from 34 – 100 to 35 – 105
- Bonus AD increased from 22.5% bonus resistances to 32.5%
Riot Llama recently revealed on Twitter that the Pride of Nazumah, the team’s first top laner in a long time, will have his passive health damage and bonus AD increased. K’Sante will also be dealing more damage with his Q and Ultimate abilities. Furthermore, his Q “Ntofo Strikes” now does additional damage based on his AD as well as bonus armor and magic resistance.
So far, the overall opinion on Reddit is that the Pride of Nazumah will be “underwhelming” and “worthless” when he is launched, forcing Riot to add a little more power into his kit. When he finally arrived on the live servers, these improvements should help him win more games.
The Riot development team has also been working on removing some bugs from K’Sante’s release code. A number of these issues have been resolved, according to League engineer Pehrek, who issued an update on October 24.
These now-fixed bugs included displacement difficulties with his E ability, being “locked out of actions” after ulting, his resistance expiring, and other issues.
K’Sante is set to go live in League in Patch 12.21, which will be released on November 2.
