A well-known League of Legends feature is making its way to VALORANT.
The developers are implementing an automatic mute feature to combat slurs and other offensive languages in Patch 5.10, which went live today.
Senders of “disruptive text messages” will have their phones muted by default. In order to improve communication in FPS game as quickly as feasible, the devs also intend to implement “interventions for disruptive text” as soon as practical. This feature aims to lessen toxicity and make participants feel more secure when participating in VALORANT.
The developers want to roll out these improvements first in the North American region before moving on to other areas in the near future.
A few weeks ago, this method was introduced in League of Legends. The algorithm in Riot’s MOBA detects the inappropriate language and mutes players who use it while the game is in progress, including those who use slurs and insults. The developers probably added this functionality to the game because the community praised it.
Patch 5.10 focuses on Harbor, Fade, and Cypher in addition to the adjustments for combating toxicity in VALORANT. It also addresses a number of bugs, much like every new release.
