LCK responded to Faker’s pause during the match vs DWG KIA, fans were furious towards the referee

The recent LCK announcement has sparked strong debate, with many fans believing that it shows disrespect towards Faker

The LCK has issued a statement in response to the halt that occurred during the second game of the match between T1 and DWG KIA. Despite the fact that T1 appears to have won, fans are still disturbed by the incident with Faker on that day.

The league community is taking notice of the happenings surrounding the match. T1 mid-laner Faker, in particular, experienced headset troubles as soon as game 2 began. Despite Faker and his teammates’ efforts to pause the game, the LCK referee did not give a break when the player highlighted the concern.

Only when Faker attempted to pause the match by mistakenly pressing the Summoner Spell flash did the LCK side step in. Not to mention DK coach Daeny being accused by the audience of attempting to put pressure on the organizers to continue the match despite the fact that Faker’s problem has not been resolved, thus upsetting fans in general.

The LCK just issued an official statement about the incident.

The organization clarified in the statement that the referee did not allow a pause for T1 during the initial pause request because the issue was an inevitable component of the headset’s performance, caused by matches being played in the studio. Certain noises may be “cut off depending on the size of a player’s voice,” according to the description.

However, the circumstance did not turn out to be the case. The break was given to T1 after the LCK reconsidered.

Later, both teams were informed that the use of Flash was due to the activities of the referee and league operations, rather than Faker himself.

All in all, the match is done, and this notification from the organization may be the end of this issue. However, it can be claimed that the LCK and DK, as well as coach Daeny, have lost some points in the eyes of the fans. It may not have been serious, but it either succeeded well or was overshadowed by needless issue.
