T1 continues to prosper in the 2022 LCK Spring Split, with an unbeaten record into the final weeks of play
T1 won their 10th win of the Spring Split against NS RedForce earlier on February 20, winning this game 2-1. They remain unbeaten at the top of the LCK leaderboards, but other teams are attempting to halt their progress as the tournament enters its final three weeks. With yet another triumph, two renowned players were able to effectively smash records for themselves and the game overall.
And NS has also shown that they are a very difficult team to play against. Several T1 players were surprised given several of their comfort choices in these games. Most notably, Faker and Gumayusi were frequently able to get powerful champions who had survived the pick/ban stage.
T1 had to work exceptionally hard in game 3 and only made it because of the outstanding performance of Gumayusi and Faker. Although Faker played well, Gumayusi was more noticeable in the crucial game.
T1 got a good start to the day with their victory. At the same time, Faker and his teammates are demonstrating their strong form and fearlessness, since this is not the first time T1 has been tied but still won the decisive game.
This match featured significant achievements in both Faker’s and Keria’s remarkable careers. The victory over NS also marked Faker’s 700th match in the LCK, which is a very tough accomplishment for anybody to achieve. Keria also earned his 2,000th assist despite just being in the LCS for a little more than two years.
