The LCS Spring finals are scheduled to start on April 23 at the NRG Arena in Houston, Texas — and fans will be able to see some of their favorite streamers compete in the Feeding Frenzy show match
The 2022 LCS Spring finals will be the region’s first live finals since 2019 – and Riot is going all out to make it a memorable occasion.
Grubhub is bringing back Feeding Frenzy, a pro-am series featuring League of Legends streamers and professional players against each other.
The Grubhub show match will be a conventional 5 against 5 game on the Summoner’s Rift map, pitting former pro players and streamers against one other. Tyler1, Macaiyla, QTCinderella, Nicki Taylor, Meteos, Skooch, VernNotice, Luxx, YouGelly, and Doublelift will be among the 10 Twitch streams taking part. SpaceGhost and KangasCasts are among the known names on the broadcast crew, with Ovilee May hosting the live event.
And, during the Feeding Frenzy breaks, fans will compete in wing-eating contests in between rounds of gameplay. With a unique promotion from Buffalo Wild Wings, fans watching from home may now participate in their very own ‘Blazin Challenge.’
Those that play online can earn a branded Hextech Chest as part of the in-game rewards, which include customized in-game skins chosen by Grubhub. LoLEsports viewers can win during the broadcast on April 23 – 24.
This will be Grubhub’s second year bringing the eating frenzy to the LCS Finals, but it will be the first-time fans will be in attendance to see the show match live. Fans may watch the game online through their Twitch channel.
