Riot Games is celebrating the 15th anniversary of League of Legends by giving out free rewards to its player base.
It’s hard to believe, but 15 years have passed since the launch of League of Legends. To commemorate this incredible occasion, Riot Games has planned a special anniversary event full of rewards like skins, emotes, icons, and much more.
In addition to these exciting giveaways, Riot is introducing themed days as part of the celebration. These themed days—Creative Day, Music Day, and Esports Day—are meant to highlight the creativity, musical talent, and competitive spirit of the League community.

League of Legends 15th Anniversary Event Details
The League of Legends 15th Anniversary Event is set to kick off on October 9th and will run until October 28th, 2024. This event will offer numerous activities and special days designed to engage different aspects of the community.
The themed days are a major highlight, with each day celebrating a different part of the League of Legends player base. Creative Day is all about showcasing the artistic and creative abilities of the community. Music Day celebrates the game’s connection to musical talent. Finally, Esports Day is dedicated to honoring the thriving esports scene that has grown around League of Legends.
To make these days even more exciting, Riot will be releasing special skins for each one. Players can expect to see Cosplayer Neeko, Music Fan Gragas, and Esports Fan Trundle, each representing a different part of the community.
Riot Games has also announced a charitable aspect to the event. For each purchase of the Cosplayer Neeko, Music Fan Gragas, Esports Fan Trundle, or the Gamer Fan Poro Ward, Riot will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, a donor-advised fund account that is supported by ImpactAssets. Additionally, Riot will triple-match every donation, multiplying the impact of each purchase for charity.

Along with the rewards players can earn by participating in the event, Riot is also introducing special missions that come with even more exclusive content. Players can complete these missions to unlock new rewards, including a brand-new Mythic skin called Ann-Sivir-sary.
