League of Legends: Champion Mastery system is confirmed to receive changes

Riot has spoken about modifying Champion Mastery in League of Legends

Riot has just provided a lot of information on League of Legends. The dev update highlighted upcoming preseason improvements such as Mythic item modifications, newly enhanced AI for Bots, three ranked splits, and more.

The introduction of the Multi-Disenchant Feature is one of the new features. This one, while a welcome addition, has some drawbacks. Players, understandably, have issues with it, and Riot has explained why this is the case. Besides that, Riot has also mentioned that Champion Mastery may change in the future.

New changes for Champion Mastery in the future

Riot BarackProbama mentioned the Multi-Disenchant Feature and Champion Mastery as a reply comment in a Reddit thread.

The majority of the comment was on the Multi-Disenchant Feature, although Riot BarackProbama turns a little at the end. He mentions Champion Mastery, which Riot is supposedly testing to see how it will operate in the future.

In League of Legends, you will be awarded with Mastery points in-game for each match played on a champion, and S ratings will provide you the highest chance of progressing quickly.

To advance in the Mastery rank, you must gather shards and Mastery tokens. Riot, on the other hand, is dissatisfied with the current system and is trying to reform it. Future updates will also be incorporated into the Multi-Disenchant Feature.

As a result, Riot is seeking ways to strengthen the Champion Mastery system. Riot BarackProbama has said that they would disclose specifics about adjustments once they have been finalised. As a result, we may have to wait a bit to see what Riot comes up with.
