Lillia is one of the newest champions in League of Legends, there are multiple mechanics that players are researching in order to maximize her power. She is also the second champion who has a Sleep crowd control ability. This crowd control effect is one of the most unique ones that has been introduced into League of Legends. Aside from Lillia, only Zoe has it from her E – Sleepy Trouble Bubble.
How Sleep Works?
This League of Legends Miss Fortune – Lillia bot lane duo all revolve around both of them’s Ultimate abilities.
When you activate Lillia’s Ultimate – Lilting Lullaby, she will make every single champion that is affected by her Dream Dust fall asleep. The mechanism of Sleep works like this: First, that unit will enter Drowsy for a short period of time then they will be put into Sleep. A unit that is asleep is unable to control its movement, declare attacks, cast abilities, activate items, or use Summoner’s Spell aside from Cleanse. Why are they effective?
You only have to take in mind one major point: “Sleep can be removed by letting it run out of its duration of taking single non-persisted damage from a non-minions.” which means Miss Fortune E – Make It Rain and her Ultimate – Bullet Time are both considered persisted-damage. Yes, it means your enemies will keep on sleeping while you are firing tons of bullets into their faces. By dealing tons of damage while doesn’t interrupt the Sleep ability, this makes Miss Fortune and Lillia exceptionally strong when going together.
Your job is really simple and it doesn’t limit any rank in order to pull it off. Lillia just needs to put your opponents to sleep and let Miss Fortune does the job by firing Ultimate at them. Some other combinations you can test out with Lillia are Morgana or Anivia.

It’s your job to sleep as many enemies as you can, bringing Phase Rush will make this progress much easier in 5v5 team fights. Also bring Ultimate Hunter for additional cooldown and Zombie Ward because… of course, you are a support.
