League of Legends: Naafiri can now hunt other champions’ pets?

Naafiri’s whole kit is built around her propensity for hunting and ability to find almost anything. However, League of Legends now has a significant bug that raises her to a whole new level.

Naafiri bug allows her to charge into untargeted objects

On August 10, famous League content creator and bug finder Vandiril made the discovery that Naafiri can use her W ability, Hounds’ Pursuit, to charge into generally untargetable objects, particularly other champions’ summoned objects.

This includes the banner of Jarvan IV, the Void Coral that Bel’Veth transforms into, and even the TFT pets we see in the clip.

Naafiri shouldn’t be able to charge into these objects at all in normal circumstances because other players cannot target them. And even the TFT pets. Pets aren’t there for anything other than to make us happy and fight with us.

Naturally, this can generally create an unfair edge over you because, especially if you’re are being chase down by Naafiri, she can utilise this to gap-close and then kill you in one swift cycle.

Vandril has only provided us with three instances of this; it is still unclear whether there is a complete list of objects that this darkin assassin may charge into. Zyra’s pre-bloomed plants, Thresh’s lantern, and perhaps even Lulu’s Pixie are further examples of this.

Naafiri had just been released to League of Legends in less than a month ago, so she is till considered a newly champion in the game, thus, bug can occur is not a big surprise.

Although Riot Games hasn’t addressed this bug, based of how rapidly the developers have responded to Vandril’s videos, we anticipate that it will be removed in Patch 13.16.
