The new huntress will be a woman, holding an unannounced distinctive weapon. If she follows in the footsteps of other Freljordian champions, she will almost certainly wield a True Ice weapon.

Iceborn, Freljordian offspring of Lissandra and her sisters Avarosa and Serylda, are the only ones who can wield True Ice. Those three struck a dark bargain with the Watchers in exchange for awful power, and their offspring have gained endurance to the Freljord’s cold as well as the ability to wield True Ice weapons.
