Riot has been on vacation for the summer, prepping for one of League of Legends’ most significant patches. The wait is nearly over, as Patch 13.14 is due to be released soon. This patch will include the famous Arena 2v2v2v2 game mode, the newest Assassin release, Naafiri, and other features.
The new Arena 2v2v2v2 game mode will be available. This will entice many individuals to return to the game and try out the new mode.
Finally, the balance tweaks and the Soul Fighters skin line are coming. We haven’t had a patch in a long time, so this one will be enormous.
Head of the League Balance Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison posted a Twitter previewing the list of changes coming to patch 13.14. And now, we can finally see the full changes with the full preview post.

Champions
Naafiri
Passive – We Are More:
Her passive allows the creation of Packmate, which attack champions and deal damage. There is also a limit to how many packmates there can be and more stuff. Here are all the details.
Packmates:
- Spawn Time: One every (30 – 15, based on level) seconds.
- Number Limit: 2 – 3 (based on level)
- Normal Physical Damage: (6 – 30, based on level) + 4.5% bonus physical damage.
- Physical Damage After Using Ability: (8 – 39, based on level) + 5.85% bonus physical damage.
- Hitting champions and large monsters with Abilities reduces the Packmate cooldown by 4 seconds.
- Killing enemies reduced it by 0.5 seconds.
- Packmates take (76 – 50%, based on level) damage from AOE Abilities and effects.
- Packmates take 50% damage from non-epic monsters and minions.
Q – Darkin Daggers:
Naafiri throws daggers that cause a bleeding effect and deal damage. The Ability can also be recast for more effects, and Packmates also trigger an attack when you Darkin Daggers.
Initial Cast:
- Blade Physical Damage: 25/35/45/55/65 (+ 20% bonus damage).
- Bleed Physical Damage: 30/65/100/135/170 (+ 80% bonus damage) over 5 seconds.
Second Cast:
- Does extra damage based on Missing Health.
- Minimum Extra Bleed Physical Damage: 35/50/65/80/95 (+70% bonus damage).
- Maximum Extra Bleed Physical Damage: 70/85/100/115/130 (+140% bonus damage).
- Healing (if hitting Champion): 45/65/85/105/125 (+40% bonus physical damage) Health.
Packmates leap at the first champion hit and attack them for 3 seconds.
Mana Cost: 55/60/65/70/75.
Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7.
W – Hounds’ Pursuit:
Naafiri dashes towards a direction and stops at the first champion she hits. This deals damage and slows the target, and allows Packmates to jump with her. Packmates are Untargetable during the ability. Hounds’ Pursuit also gets a range bonus based on Ultimate rank.
Dash Damage: 30/70/110/150/190 (+ 80% bonus physical damage).
Damage Per Packmate: 3 (+ 8% bonus physical damage).
Mana Cost: 70/60/50/40/30.
Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14.
E – Eviscerate:
Naafiri dashes towards enemies and deals damage in an area alongside Packmates and then walks back. Packmates also recall alongside Naafiri and heals 100% Health.
Damage (First Slash): 35/55/75/95/115.
Damage (Second Slash): 65/105/145/185/225.
Cooldown: 11/10.5/10/9.5/9.
R – The Call of the Pack:
The Passive grants E – Hounds’ Pursuit extra range while the active enhances her and her Packmates.
Passive:
- Hounds’ Pursuit Extra Range: 80/160/240.
Active:
- Physical Damage Gained: 10/20/30 (+ 15/20/25% bonus physical damage).
- She empowers her Pack and spawns 2/3/4 additional Packmates for 15 seconds.
- Empowered Packmates gain 25% Health, and their spawn Cooldown is reduced by 50%.
- Naafiri also gains vision of her surroundings and a 70/85/100% bonus Movement Speed for 4 seconds that decays over time.
- Movement Speed reduces to 35/42.5/50% on taking damage.
- After cast, the first time she hits a champion, she gains [(125/325/525) (+ 50% bonus damage)] Shield for 3 seconds.
- All effects are refreshed on the first champion takedown (kill/assist).
Mana Cost: 100 Mana.
Cooldown: 120 seconds.
Aatrox
- Q base damage reduced from 10-90 to 10-70.
- Q total attack damage ratio increased from 60-80 percent to 60-100 percent (Riot N.B. 101 plus total attack damage is a buff).
- Q minion damage increased from 55 percent to 55-70 percent (levels 1-16).
Diana
- W shield strength increased from 40-100 (plus nine percent base health) to 45-105 (plus 30 percent ability power, plus nine percent base health).
- W damage per orb increased from 18-66 (plus 15 percent ability power) to 18-66 (plus 18 percent ability power).
- E ability power ratio increased from 50-130 (plus 50 percent) to 50-130 (plus 60 percent).
Lissandra
- Passive no longer slows at final frames before detonation.
- Passive now follows enemies into brush if they were being chased.
- Passive thralls are revealed to enemies through fog of war.
- Q now slows all enemies rather than just hit the first.
- W missile now casts from position post cast rather than pre-cast.
- R heal amount increased from 90-190 (plus 25 percent ability power)[increased by 0-100 percent based on missing health] to 100-200 (plus 55 percent ability power)[increased by 0-100 percent based on missing health](maximum value at 30 percent health).
- Area of effect damage/slow update cadence increased from 4/s to 16/s.
- R logic updated around stopping dashes.
Shaco
- Q bonus damage increased from 25-65 (plus 50 percent bonus attack damage) to 25-65 (plus 60 percent bonus attack damage).
- Backstab crit bonus increased from 40 to 55 percent.
- R bugfix: Now properly propagates Prowler’s Claw passive to clone.
Shyvana
- Q ratio increased from 20-80 percent of total attack damage to 20-100 percent of total attack damage.
- Q cooldown increased from 7-5 to 8-6.
- New Q ability: Next two attacks have 40-60 percent increased attack speed.
- E mark damage on hit changed from three percent target health to three percent target health plus one percent per 100 base attack damage.
Volibear
- Passive ability power ratio increased from 40 to 50 percent.
- W missing health heal increased from 8-16 to 8-20.
Xerath
- Mana reduced from 459 to 400.
- Passive cooldown increased from 12 to 16.
- Passive cooldown reduced by two seconds unit kill and procs on structures.
- R recasts increased from 3-5 to 4-6.
- R damage reduced from 200-300 (plus 45 percent ability power) to 180-280 (plus 40 percent ability power).
- R bonus damage per champion hit now 20-30 (plus five percent ability power).
Zyra
- Plant damage taken from area of effect spells reduced from four to three.
- Plant damage taken from ranged autos increased from four to five.
- Plant damage to monsters changed from 150 percent to non-epic monsters to 40-100 bonus magic damage (scaling with level) to all monsters.
- W seeds on first rank up increased from one to two.
- E no longer locks out Flash during the cast.
- R cast paradigm changed from Wall to Position to Casts At Max Range.
- Missile damage update cadence increased from 4/s to 16/s.
Hecarim
- W bonus resistances reduced from 15-35 to 15-30.
Jax
- E cooldown increased from 14-8 to 15-9.
- R mana cost increased from 50 to 100.
Karthus
- Q damage reduced from 45-115 (doubled when isolated) to 43-115 (doubled when isolated).
- Q monster modifer increased from 95 to 100 percent.
- E mana refund reduced from 15-55 to 10-50.
Kindred
- Health increased from 580 to 610.
- Armor reduced from 29 to 26 (reverted from last patch).
- Q cooldown increased from eight to nine seconds.
- Q damage reduced from 50-150 to 40-140.
Milio
- Passive burn damage reduced from 25-80 to 15-50.
- E move speed reduced from 15-25 percent to 12-20 percent.
Rell
- Armor reduced from 39 to 36.
- Passive steal changed from three percent to two percent (max 15 percent down to 10 percent).
Rengar
- Q crit conversion reduced from 95 to 75 percent.
- Base health regeneration reduced from seven to six.
Rek’Sai
- E damage changed from 55-75 (plus 85 percent bonus attack damage) to 5-25 (plus 70 total attack damage).
- W damage reduced from 55-115 to 50-110.
Yorick
- Bug fixes for Lifesteal interactions.
Items
Axiom Arc
- Ultimate cooldown refund changed from 20 percent total to five percent plus 40 percent lethality total.
Prowler’s Claw
- Lethality increased from 15 to 18.
Randuin’s Omen
- Crit reduction increased from 20 to 25 percent.
Spear of Shojin
- Cost reduced from 3,400 to 3,300.
- Health increased from 300 to 350.
Spirit Visage
- Magic resistance increased from 50 to 60.
Sterak’s Gage
- Cost reduced from 3,100 to 3,000.
- Health increased from 400 to 450.
Galeforce
- Cooldown increased from 90 to 120 seconds.
Infinity Edge
- Attack damage reduced from 70 to 65.
- Crit damage increased from 35 to 45 percent.
Stattik Shiv
- Electroshock damage reduced from 350-450 to 250-350 (25 per level starting at level seven, then 12.5 from level 11 changed to 10 per level starting at level nine).
Trinity Force
- Attack speed reduced from 35 to 33 percent.
- Treefold Strikes attack damage changed from four percent, five stacks to six percent, three stacks (Riot N.B. This is a buff for the first ten attacks).
Systems
Ghost
- Duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
- Removed: Duration is no longer increased by 4-7 (based on level) seconds up scoring a takedown.
Red Brambleback
- True damage reduced from 10-78 (based on level) to 10-75 (based on level).
- Slow for melee champions reduced from 10-20 percent (based on level) to 5-20 percent (based on level).
Blue Sentinel
- Ability haste changed from 10 at all levels to 5-20 (based on level).
Jungle treats are being changed.
New 2v2v2v2 game mode released.
According to League patch official schedule, patch 13.14 will go live on July 19.
